Nashville, TN – June 9, 2011- Fresh from a sold out show in Oneonta, NY this past weekend, Columbia Nashville’s Josh Thompson launched into CMA Music Fest with his first-ever fan club party on Tuesday. After an acoustic performance, Thompson signed autographs for the fans in attendance, the first of six signings for him this week.
“This week is so special for me, because I get to meet my fans face to face and thank them for supporting me,” explains Thompson. “I’ll run myself ragged this week for sure, but it’s all worth it in the end."
Yesterday afternoon, Thompson helped to officially kick off CMA Fest with a performance at the Block Party on the Chevrolet Riverfront Stage. Today, he kicks into high gear with signings for Wrangler (9:15 AM at French’s Shoes and Boots), CMT (10:30 AM), Carl Black Chevrolet (11:30 AM at Margaritaville), Country Music Hall of Fame (1:00 PM), GAC (3:00 PM) and the Opry Originals Store (5:30 PM).
Thompson heads back out on the road on Friday with stops in Decatur, IL and Winsted, MN on Saturday.
