NASHVILLE, TN – February 2, 2011 — Nominations for the 46th Annual ACM Awards are out, and Kenny Chesney has earned five nominations – more nominations than any other male artist. As both a writer and producer, Chesney is up for Album of the Year and Single Record of the Year (for 'Hemingway's Whiskey' and "The Boys of Fall," respectively), and his music video for "The Boys of Fall" has been nominated for Video of the Year. "In making 'Hemingway's Whiskey,' it was important for me to push myself and my audience while at the same time staying true to who I am as an artist," says Chesney. "That's why I'm so proud of this album and even more proud of the nomination for ACM Album of the Year."
'Hemingway's Whiskey,' debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart (Chesney's sixth album to earn that distinction), and has already produced two hit singles – "The Boys of Fall" and "Somewhere With You" – that have both enjoyed multiple weeks at number one on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart. The Corona Presents Kenny Chesney's "Goin' Coastal" Tour is the superstar's biggest tour in five years, a string of nearly 60 dates in stadiums, arenas and amphitheaters around the country between March and August.
