Sara Evans’ New Album, Stronger, Holds #1 for 2nd Week!
Nashville, TN – RCA Nashville country star Sara Evans continues her Billboard Top Country Albums chart stronghold for a second week. With over 22,000 sales according to Nielsen SoundScan, Evans’ Stronger remains the #1 album in the country following its first-week sales in excess of 55,000 copies. Earlier this week, Evans was announced as a performer on The 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, airing live from Las Vegas, April 3, on CBS Television. Evans will sing her new album’s smash first single, the Top-10-and-climbing “A Little Bit Stronger,” which last week was RIAA certified as a Gold Digital Single.
Evans will help kick off the excitement of the ACM Awards when she headlines the first of two nights of free concerts on Friday, April 1, as part of ACM Weekend on Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas.
Evans has also been announced to join Rascal Flatts on tour this summer. “Flatts Fest” will launch June 18 and continue through September 18.
