May 31, 2017 – Email is officially closed. All paid accounts should be expired. We thank you for 18 years.
April 30, 2017 – Only one paid account is left. So, only that account has access to email. It will expire by the end of May. And, at that point, we will officially close access to email. February 24, 2017 – We have learned that there are 2 paid accounts. So for now, those 2 accounts have access to their email accounts. We are talking with Everyone.net about what to do since the accounts expire at different times. But, we are planning to shutdown service to paid accounts at the end of March or when the accounts expire, whichever comes first. But either way, they will not be renewed. So, please move your email to another email service as soon as possible. You can archive and move your email via POP/IMAP. Consult with your new service on how best to do this. Services like Gmail allow you to move your email from your old account to your Gmail account. All the information is on their site if you choose them. Those 2 accounts may still login at http://freemail.ecowboy.com. All free accounts have been closed.
January 25, 2017 – We were just notified minutes ago that the company that has been providing our free email service has announced that it is eliminating free email and now wants to charge our users. So, they will shutdown all free accounts by February 23, 2017.
Since there are currently no paying users, this will effect all of us. Here is what you need to know:
DO NOT SIGN UP FOR PAID SERVICE DO NOT sign up for the paid email service! We do not feel their services are worthy of a premium service. So, we will disconnect the whole service once they shutdown free email on February 23, 2017.
WE CANNOT ISSUE REFUNDS Please do not sign up for paid services because we will have no way to refund any payments since we are not offering this service and do not collect for paid services. There are currently no email users paying for services. So, this should not be an issue.
MOVE YOUR EMAIL BY January 31, 2017 Please choose a new email service as soon as possible and forward whatever email you want to keep to that address by January 31, 2017. While they are saying February 23, we urge you to not to procrastinate. We have no control over over what they do.
We certainly appreciate having you on the site for so many years. We apologize for any inconvenience.
